The law of Anti-Human Trafficking was issued by Royal Decree No. M/40 dated 7/21/1430 AH. Other laws that contribute to reducing this crime were also issued, such as the Protection Against Abuse law, the Child Protection law, and the Anti-Cybercrime law. His Highness the Minister of Interior also issued a decision to consider the crime of human trafficking as an offence subject to arrest.
Forming a national committee in the Human Rights Commission to combat crimes of human trafficking.
Adopting national action plans to combat human trafficking crimes.
Launching the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) for victims of human trafficking.
Training of more than 7,000 beneficiaries from government and private entities and civil society institutions during the years 2020 – 2024 through 85 specialized training programs.
Allocating an independent prosecution office for crimes of human trafficking.
Allocating jurisdictions to hear cases of human trafficking.
Launching an initiative to improve the contractual relationship.
Establishing labor attachés in labour-exporting countries to the Kingdom.
Adopting a regulation on domestic labor and its rulers and establishing controls to improve contractual relations.
Receiving reports of human trafficking crimes through several hotlines and applications.
Activating the role of active victim search and monitoring websites and social media to detect any abuses.
Intensifying the efforts of law enforcement and increasing investigations and prosecutions of human trafficking cases.
Establishing administrative units and training specialists in all police stations in the Kingdom due to the importance of combating such crimes.
